Well, I think the time has come to update again!! Thinks are GREAT here in Victoria. Today is the second day of my performances with the Victoria Symphony! What an experience! Since they are education concerts for elementary school kids, the audience is so appreciative.....plus I love the fact that they ooooh and aaaawww over my dress when I walk out on stage!! :D Oh, and nothing is better than disco balls and time machines in a symphony concert, right?? If you want details just let me know!! haha!
The weather here can't figure out what it wants to do, and the forecasters seem dumbfounded!! They say it's not supposed to rain, and then there's a torrential downpour, but 5 minutes later the sun is blinding and there's blue sky! I don't get it. Make up your mind!!
As Kristen mentioned, she and I are hosting a shindig on December 18th......a martini party.....we really just wanted to find a reason to wear the dresses we bought on our trip to Edmonton, so we figured this would be the perfect opportunity. We'll update everyone with the details later!! :D
Well, 28 days until I return to Calgary! I can't wait to see everyone, and I know time is going to fly until then. The whole semester has gone by sooooo quickly, I can hardly believe it! Dave and I were talking about that yesterday actually......even though my room looks like it's well lived in (very messy at the moment.....sorry Mom), it feels like it was just yesterday that I moved in! I guess it's just that I'm so busy this year! Coming home for Christmas will be a great break for me!
Well, not much else has happened here, except for my mental high at the moment (from playing with the symphony!!).....I've definitely realized how much I love to perform!!
Anyway, I must be off.....I hope to get some work done, and grab some lunch before my next performance at 1pm.
