Do vegetarians eat animal crackers???

Well, seeing as though no one in my building will actually read this, I assume it is harmless, but I just figured I had to let it all out......think of it as a sequel to last year's rez rant!! :D

Ok.......I have a bone to pick with the people in my rez building! You're all nice people, but you don't quite seem to understand that we SHARE the facilities in here!! I don't control all of Ring Road Hall, nor do any of you......we all SHARE it! As you can clearly see, SHARE is the keyword here!

First of all......I don't mind the parties in our building on weekends.......that's your time to let loose, and by all means, party hard.......just don't puke in our SHARED washrooms, or pretend that you're sooooo drunk that you fall into my door about 50 times yelling, "Oh my god, I'm soooooo drunk!" Give me a break......you're not that drunk, you're just trying to get attention.

This leads me to my next issue......I said I don't mind partying on weekends, meaning that Friday night through to Sunday afternoon are fair game(This does not include Sunday night due to the fact that Sunday night seems to be when you all decide to start the assignments that are due Monday morning). Maybe someone can explain this to me though......What's so special about Thursdays??? Yes, I understand that it's cheap night at the bar. But why then, does that make you feel you must party in the building on Thursday nights?? I'm not so sure, myself. My advice to you is to go OUT to a bar or something if you really have the urge to drink, play loud music, and shout, unless you want to suffer the wrath of those of us who enjoy sleeping before our 8:30am classes the next day!! (Or even better.....get some sleep so I don't spend my Friday morning at breakfast with a whole bunch of people complaining about having to go to class hungover!!)

Next, I'd like to address the issue of noise......I know you're room is your space, but when it's 11pm on a school night and I can hear every phrase of American Pie 2 as the noise from your speaker system shakes my wall, I think it might be a little too loud. What do you think??

Last, and definitely not least.....yes girls, we live on the same floor as boys, and thus the showers and toilets we use, are used by them as well. It's not brain surgery! I've met all the boys in our hall, and quite honestly, we lucked out with a great group. None of them seem excessively dirty, and as far as I'm concerned, they all have respect for our SHARED space!! So girls......I'm sick of your whining and complaining about the boys leaving the toilet seat up. They're boys......it's second nature for them to forget to put the seat back down. I might even be bold enough to say that it could be a character flaw if there was a guy who actually REMEMBERS to put the seat down (without a reminder of course). I'm sure the boys aren't to pleased by the long strands of hair we leave in the drains in the shower, but I don't hear them complaining!! Here's something to think about girls.......would you rather have the seat left up, or have them leave it down and pee all over the seat????

Answer me this........If a girl was looking for a nice red shirt in the city of Victoria, where should she look???? Oh right......there are no red shirts in Victoria!!! At least that's what it seemed like as I walked through multiple stores, picking through racks and racks of pale pink!! Honestly....where's the red?!?!?! I guess red's just not IN this fall/winter!! What a useless shopping trip. However, it was nice to get off campus and walk around. School is busy, but nothing I can't handle.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JO, CORI, AND SARAH!!! I hope you girls have a great time and don't party too hard!! :D

It stopped raining today, which is kind of nice. Now it's sunny with blue skies!! YAY for nice weather!! Tomorrow is supposed to be nice as well, so I plan on taking advantage of that, since Monday's are the least busy day of the school week!!(2 classes and that's it!!) Maybe a trip to the beach is in order?!?!

Anyway, all is well here in Victoria.....I'm back in the swing of things, and enjoying it, or at least trying to with all my lack of free time!! I hope to hear from everyone soon!!!

Oooooh......also......I'm running 5km for the CIBC run for the cure on October 3rd, so if anyone wants to donate, contact me and I'll give you any details you may need!! :D
