Do vegetarians eat animal crackers???

Since Kristen accused me of not updating my blog enough, I figured maybe I should write an entry. Reading break is nearing a close, and Kristen left this afternoon to go back to Calgary, and then proceed to Lethbridge. We had so much fun....especially feeding the bunnies the other night. We named them....my personal favourite is Norbert, however Kristen seems to have something against him because he has breathing problems!! Geez Kris!!

The weather here is gorgeous! Today it was blue skies, 10 degrees and sunny! B-E-A-utiful!! At least there wasn't construction this morning. The past week, I have woken up to the thunderous sound of machinery ripping up the road just outside my window. How come they have to start at 7:42 am, and wake up all the sleep deprived students who chose to remain in rez during reading break!! I don't get it!! They start early in the morning, and it wakes me up (because it is sooooo loud and skakes my room), and then by 10am it's silent outside!! Would it kill them to start a little later?!?!?!?!?! Stupid people!!

Not much has been happening out here, because most people are at home for reading break. It was quite peaceful it rez actually! I feel like I've gotten a lot done.

Last night I was trying to do some reading for english, and ended up falling asleep for 2 hours....when I woke up I just quit my unnecessary reading, and went to the lounge to hang out. It was weird watching TV, because that's something I rarely do here. Even though we have TVs in both of our lounges, usually they are occupied by the dirty building kids who leave indents in the couches from sitting there for hours playing Nintendo 64, or watching Monster Garage, or some other useless shows (sorry if I offend anyone by making fun of Monster Garage)!!

Well, I better go....things to do....people to see (not really, but oh well)

Ahhhh Valentines Day! Kristen and I had a great girls day! She arrived at about 1:30pm yesterday afternoon, and we headed downtown. It was a lot of fun since Kristen could not stop saying "I'm in Victoria, I'm in Victoria!!" We saw some crazy things, like a poodle on this van's dashboard as it drove down Belleville Street, or the mad meditation ho had a sign that said that money is a sin. We thought it would have been mean, but funny, if someone were to throw a penny at him or something! We also went for a late lunch at Sam's deli. You don't realize how good real food is until you have to eat in a rez cafeteria for a great length of time.

Kristen has decided that she's going to take a bunny home with her. Good luck Kristen!!

Denise, I got your hug from Kristen. I miss you, and hope you're having fun this semester. I read your blog, and it seems like you're doing well!!

So, I think my room is tiny.....it's actually one of the smallest double rooms on campus, however Kristen seems to think that it is ginormous!! She pretty much freaked out when she saw that Josh's single room was nearly the size of my double room.

Anyway, I woke up early today for some reason, and so after having to wake up Alexa so she can catch the 11am ferry to go home for reading break (shw is skipping Monday and Tuesday's classes), I figure maybe I should grab something to eat. Back to rez food this morning!! It's OK....rez breakfast here is actually quite good!!

Later Gators!
