Do vegetarians eat animal crackers???

That's it, I'm building an ark!! Two clarinets, two saxophones, two tubas, two flutes.....you get the point.....it never stops raining!! Since I got here, I think I've experienced more rain than I'd experience in 7 lifetimes in Calgary!! I'm not even exaggerating. Being the good student I am however, I hike through the many "lakes" (large puddles that come up to my ankles) to get to class, get stuck in te mud a couple of times, and then have to sit through class in soaking wet jeans. As much as I love my umbrealla, it's a pain in the butt when the wind picks up and the umbrella flips inside out! I use it anyway, but it's not very effective! I've already had to wash my shoes 2 times and my pants after I got stuck in the mud about a half hour ago. I thought I could make it, but apparently I was horribly wrong.

I think I have the room to myself this weekend. Alexa's going to Pender Island (I have no idea where that is, but I know it's an island!! haha), so I'll have a quiet room to do homework and study in......hopefully her phone won't ring off the hook like it does on some occasions (like last night at 2:30 am)!!!

I'm dreading the rest of the day....I really enjoy Wind Symphony, but it means having to venture out into the monsoon again! Oh, and then I have a dress rehearsal until 10:00pm for chorus!! I hate chorus!! Stupid Fish Lady!! If you haven't heard the Fish Lady story, ask me about it, and I can tell you! The chorus part isn't so bad, but most of the time, we have to just sit there listening to the orhestra and the soloists. BORING!! Oh well, I guess it could be worse....I could be stranded outside in the rain.

The semester is finally winding down, and trust me, I'm going to love my 16 day return to Calgary! I come home in 3 weeks today!! HOORAY FOR 3 WEEKS!!

Later Gators
